Our Sauce was born from the Villa Valenti Restaurant, a Rensselaer County landmark for over fifty years and renown for its pasta sauce. The sauce-making runs even deeper than this. Our grandfather owned a landmark Italian Restaurant in Troy, New York, The Volcano, which was also renown for its sauce. What started us bottling our sauce was the fact that we were consumed by our customers saying, “you should bottle your sauce”. So we did! Since then, our sauce has been extremely well received, by winning blind taste tests and engaging in the sponsorship of Prevent Child Abuse  (one of the finest charities in the world), which gave us added appeal. We then realized we have a sauce that has a remarkable price, quality, and marketing appeal. The Prevent Child Abuse Logo is prominently and proudly displayed on the bottle. We have three sauces ... Traditional, Primavera, and Hot and Spicy. My grandfather would have been proud.

According to Prevent Child Abuse America, the nation’s leading child abuse prevention organization, forty-three percent of American parents report spanking or hitting their child within the last 12 months, thirty-seven percent report insulting or swearing at their child, and two percent report having kicked, bit or punched their child. More than 3 million children were reported to child protective service agencies as alleged victims of child abuse or neglect in 1998, and approximately 1 million of these reports were confirmed.
